Birkdale Animal Hospital Points Championship
The Birkdale Animal Hospital Points Championship are awards given to the top three finishers in each age group, male and female, for completion of the 4 event series. To qualify you must be present at all 4 events and YOU MUST REGISTER ON-LINE FOR THE LAST RACE. We need to purchase the awards prior to the race so we must have a clear number to purchase. You risk not getting an award that day if you register the day of the event. The point system is:
- 4 points for a 1st place finish
- 3 points for a 2nd place finish
- 2 points for a 3rd place finish
- 1 point for being registered,paid,present/competing.
If there is a tie for any race or points position the tie breaker will go to the fastest finisher. Example; there is a tie for the 4-6 age group for first place. The winner will be the person whose 4 race times , added together, are fastest. Don't miss out on some great times and HUGE trophies.
